I walked by the water as the sun went down.
Aku berjalan di tepi air saat matahari tenggelam.
The sky turned orange, pink, then purple.
Langit berubah jingga, merah muda, lalu ungu.
The waves made soft sounds on the shore.
Ombak membuat suara lembut di pantai.
I thought about the busy day at work.
Aku memikirkan hari yang sibuk di kantor.
All the emails and meetings felt far away now.
Semua email dan rapat terasa jauh sekarang.
Here, the only task was to breathe.
Di sini, satu-satunya tugas adalah bernapas.
I watched a bird glide over the surface.
Aku melihat burung meluncur di atas permukaan.
The water held the last light of day.
Air menahan cahaya terakhir hari itu.
I felt my shoulders drop and my mind clear.
Aku merasa bahuku turun dan pikiranku jernih.
Evening walks are my small reset button.
Jalan sore adalah tombol reset kecilku.
Tomorrow I will face the tasks again.
Besok aku akan menghadapi tugas lagi.
But tonight, I give myself this rest.
