The rain came suddenly today.
आज अचानक बारिश आ गई।
I had no umbrella.
मेरे पास छाता नहीं था।
My friend opened hers and pulled me close.
मेरी दोस्त ने अपना छाता खोला और मुझे पास खींच लिया।
We walked together under that small roof.
हम उस छोटी छत के नीचे साथ चले।
The rain was loud on the fabric.
बारिश कपड़े पर जोर से गिर रही थी।
But I felt warm and dry.
लेकिन मुझे गर्मी और सूखापन महसूस हुआ।
We did not talk much.
हमने ज्यादा बात नहीं की।
We just walked step by step.
हम बस कदम दर कदम चलते रहे।
Her shoulder touched mine.
उसका कंधा मेरे कंधे से लगा था।
That little contact said everything.
उस छोटे से स्पर्श ने सब कुछ कह दिया।
I am grateful for her.
मैं उसके लिए आभारी हूं।
Sometimes help arrives without asking.
कभी-कभी मदद बिना मांगे आ जाती है।
