I remember my math teacher from high school.
고등학교 때 수학 선생님이 생각나요.
She told me I could be good at numbers.
그분은 제가 숫자에 소질이 있다고 말했어요.
At that time, I did not believe her.
그때는 그 말을 믿지 않았어요.
I thought I was just average.
그냥 평범하다고 생각했거든요.
But she kept giving me extra problems to solve.
하지만 선생님은 계속 추가 문제를 주셨어요.
She said I had a sharp mind.
제가 머리가 좋다고 하셨어요.
Now I work with data every day.
지금은 매일 데이터를 다루는 일을 해요.
I use the logic she helped me build.
선생님이 길러주신 논리력을 사용해요.
Her belief became my own confidence.
그 믿음이 제 자신감이 되었어요.
I wish I could thank her now.
지금이라도 감사하다고 말하고 싶어요.
She changed my path without knowing it.
선생님은 모르셨겠지만 제 길을 바꾸셨어요.
Sometimes a few words are enough.
가끔은 몇 마디 말이면 충분하더라고요.
