I stood on the platform and watched the train leave.
मैं प्लेटफॉर्म पर खड़ा हो गया और ट्रेन को जाते देखा।
Your hand was still waving from the window.
तुम्हारा हाथ अभी भी खिड़की से हिल रहा था।
Then the train turned and you were gone.
फिर ट्रेन मुड़ी और तुम गायब हो गए।
The platform felt empty and very long.
प्लेटफॉर्म सूना और बहुत लंबा लगा।
I remembered our first goodbye here years ago.
मुझे याद आया हमारा पहला अलविदा यहाँ सालों पहले।
We were both nervous and excited then.
तब हम दोनों घबराए और उत्साहित थे।
Now the goodbye feels heavier and older.
अब यह अलविदा भारी और पुराना लगता है।
I walked to the edge of the platform.
मैं प्लेटफॉर्म के किनारे तक चला गया।
The rails were empty and shining in the light.
पटरियाँ खाली थीं और रोशनी में चमक रही थीं।
I sat on a bench and felt the cold metal.
मैं एक बेंच पर बैठ गया और ठंडी धातु को महसूस किया।
This station has seen many goodbyes like mine.
इस स्टेशन ने मेरे जैसे कई अलविदा देखे हैं।
I hope your journey is smooth and safe.
मुझे उम्मीद है तुम्हारी यात्रा आसान और सुरक्षित हो।
