I used to check my coworkers' wins every morning.
예전엔 매일 아침 동료들의 성과를 확인했어요.
Their promotions felt like my failures.
그들의 승진이 제 실패처럼 느껴졌죠.
One evening, I sat with my own list of done tasks.
어느 저녁, 제가 해낸 일들을 적어봤어요.
I saw small steps I had never noticed before.
전에는 보지 못했던 작은 발걸음들이 보였어요.
My progress was not less, just different.
제 발전은 덜한 게 아니라 달랐던 거예요.
I stopped looking at their scoreboard.
그들의 점수판을 바라보는 걸 멈췄어요.
Now I measure my own growth in my own way.
이제는 제 방식대로 제 성장을 재고 있어요.
It feels lighter, like a room with more air.
더 가벼워요, 공기가 더 많은 방 같아요.
I am not behind; I am on my own path.
뒤쳐진 게 아니라 제 길을 가고 있는 거예요.
And that path is enough.
그리고 그 길로 충분해요.
