It's never easy to share tough news.
안 좋은 소식을 전하는 건 항상 힘들어요.
Today, our project numbers weren't ideal.
오늘, 우리 프로젝트 수치가 좋지 않았어요.
I felt a knot in my stomach beforehand.
미리부터 속이 좀 답답했어요.
But I knew honesty was important.
하지만 솔직함이 중요하다고 생각했어요.
I started by saying, "Let me be straight with you."

I showed them what the data really said.

The performance was lower than expected.

Then I shifted to finding solutions.

"Here's how we can respond to this."

We brainstormed new ideas together.
함께 새로운 아이디어를 브레인스토밍했어요.
Everyone contributed thoughtful suggestions.
모두 신중한 제안들을 내주었어요.
It felt good to face it head-on.
정면으로 맞서는 게 좋았어요.
