Today I fixed a small bug in the system.
今日、システムの小さなバグを直した。
Nobody asked me to do it.
誰も頼んでいなかった。
I just saw it and thought, I can fix this.
ただそれを見て、直せると思ったんだ。
The fix took twenty minutes.
直すのに20分かかった。
No one noticed the change.
誰もその変更に気づかなかった。
But I know it made things run smoother.
でも、物事がスムーズになったのは分かってる。
That feeling is enough for me tonight.
今夜はその気持ちで十分だ。
I don't need applause to know I did good.
拍手がなくても、自分が良いことをしたと分かる。
Small wins add up over time.
小さな成功は時間とともに積み重なる。
Maybe tomorrow I will find another one.
たぶん明日もまた一つ見つけるだろう。
