I chop an onion slowly.
나는 천천히 양파를 썬다.
The knife feels heavy in my hand.
칼이 내 손에서 무겁게 느껴진다.
Each slice is a small gift.
각 조각은 작은 선물이다.
I want this meal to be perfect.
이 음식이 완벽하기를 바란다.
But perfect is not the goal.
하지만 완벽함이 목표는 아니다.
The goal is to show my love.
목표는 내 사랑을 보여주는 것이다.
I stir the soup with care.
나는 정성스럽게 수프를 젓는다.
My heart is in every spoon.
내 마음이 모든 스푼에 담겨 있다.
I taste and add a little salt.
맛을 보고 소금을 조금 넣는다.
The kitchen smells like home.
부엌이 집 냄새로 가득하다.
Soon they will sit at the table.
곧 그들이 식탁에 앉을 것이다.
And I will watch them eat.
그리고 나는 그들이 먹는 모습을 볼 것이다.
