Giving a calm status update and setting clear timing

I gave my manager a status update this morning.

We are on track for the Friday deadline.

But I wanted to give a quick heads-up.

One part might take a little longer.

Realistically that lands by Monday morning.

She said that sounds good.

I told her I will keep you posted.

It felt good to be clear about timing.

Now she knows what to expect.

I don't have to worry about surprises.

This helps us both plan better.

I will give another update on Thursday.
