I couldn't sleep last night.

My mind was full of money worries.

I kept thinking about bills and rent.
청구서와 월세 생각만 계속 났어요.
At 5 AM I gave up on sleep.
새벽 5시에 잠을 포기했어요.
I walked to the kitchen for water.
물을 마시려고 부엌으로 걸어갔어요.
Through the window I saw pink clouds.
창문 너머로 분홍빛 구름이 보였어요.
The sky was changing from dark to light.
하늘이 어둠에서 빛으로 바뀌고 있었어요.
I stepped onto the balcony with my cup.
컵을 들고 베란다로 나갔어요.
The air was cool and fresh.
공기는 시원하고 신선했어요.
I watched the sun rise slowly.
해가 천천히 떠오르는 걸 지켜봤어요.
For a moment my money problems faded.
잠시 동안 돈 문제가 사라졌어요.
The sunrise was a gift I didn't pay for.
일출은 내가 돈 내지 않은 선물이었어요.
