My alarm went off and I felt the cold air.
Alarmku berbunyi dan aku merasakan udara dingin.
I wanted to stay under my warm blanket.
Aku ingin tetap di bawah selimut hangatku.
But my body knew it was time to move.
Tapi tubuhku tahu ini waktunya bergerak.
I swung my legs out and stood up fast.
Aku mengayunkan kaki keluar dan berdiri cepat.
The cold floor woke every part of me.
Lantai dingin membangunkan seluruh tubuhku.
I made coffee and watched the steam rise.
Aku membuat kopi dan melihat uapnya naik.
My breath made small clouds in the kitchen.
Napasku membuat awan kecil di dapur.
I put on my running shoes without thinking.
Aku memakai sepatu lari tanpa berpikir.
Outside, the world was sharp and clear.
Di luar, dunia terasa tajam dan jernih.
The cold bit my cheeks and I smiled.
Dingin menggigit pipiku dan aku tersenyum.
This is the start I needed today.
Inilah awal yang kubutuhkan hari ini.
