We talked about many details.
たくさんの細かいことを話しました。
Then we reached an agreement.
そして、合意に達しました。
I said, "So to confirm, we agreed on the new plan."
私は「確認ですが、新しい計画で合意しましたね」と言いました。
She nodded and smiled.
彼女はうなずいて、微笑みました。
I told her my next step.
私は彼女に次の自分の行動を伝えました。
"The next step on my side is to prepare the papers."
「私の次のステップは書類を準備することです。」
"I will send that over by tomorrow afternoon."
「明日午後までにそれを送ります。」
She said, "Okay, I will start my part then."

We both knew what to do.

It felt clear and good.
