I walked fast to catch the bus.
Caminaba rápido para alcanzar el autobús.
My little niece held my hand.
Mi sobrinita me tomó la mano.
She stopped to look at a bug.
Se detuvo a mirar un insecto.
I felt annoyed at first.
Al principio me molesté.
But then I saw her eyes.
Pero luego vi sus ojos.
They were full of wonder.
Estaban llenos de asombro.
She taught me to slow down.
Ella me enseñó a ir más despacio.
Now I miss that simple joy.
Ahora extraño esa alegría simple.
I forgot how to be curious.
Olvidé cómo ser curioso.
Maybe I can learn again.
Quizás pueda aprender de nuevo.
