I put a small seed in the soil.
흙 속에 작은 씨앗을 심었어.
It looks so tiny now.
지금은 정말 작아 보여.
Many days will pass.
많은 날들이 흘러갈 거야.
I water it every day.
매일 물을 줘.
I hope it finds strength.
힘을 얻기를 바라.
The ground keeps its secrets.
땅은 그 비밀을 간직해.
I cannot rush its unfolding.
그것의 펼쳐짐을 서두를 수 없어.
This waiting feels heavy sometimes.
이 기다림은 때때로 무겁게 느껴져.
But a deep root might form.
하지만 깊은 뿌리가 생길지도 몰라.
Then a new shoot will appear.
그러면 새싹이 나타날 거야.
Maybe a strong plant will rise.
어쩌면 튼튼한 식물이 자랄 거야.
I hold this small expectation.
나는 이 작은 기대를 품고 있어.
