Tonight I found a seed in my coat.
오늘 밤 코트에서 씨앗 하나를 찾았어.
It was small and brown and plain.
그건 작고 갈색이고 평범했어.
I forgot when I put it there.
언제 거기에 넣었는지 잊어버렸어.
But I remember the hope I had.
하지만 그때 가졌던 기대는 기억나.
My work feels like that seed sometimes.
내 일이 가끔 그 씨앗 같아.
I put effort in and see nothing.
노력을 쏟아도 아무것도 보이지 않아.
I want to dig it up and check.
파내서 확인하고 싶어.
But growth happens under the soil.
하지만 성장은 흙 속에서 일어나.
I can't see the roots working.
뿌리가 일하는 건 볼 수 없어.
So I will water and wait.
그래서 물을 주고 기다릴 거야.
Tomorrow I will plant this seed.
내일 이 씨앗을 심을 거야.
I will trust the dark earth.
어두운 흙을 믿을 거야.
