I wrote you a long letter today.

I used my favorite blue pen.

My hand moved slow on the paper.
我的手在纸上慢慢地写。
I told you about my new job.
我告诉了你我的新工作。
I told you about the rain here.
我告诉了你这里下雨的事。
I wanted to say sorry for that fight.
我想为那次争吵说对不起。
But I did not put it in an envelope.
但是我没有把它放进信封里。
The letter sits in my drawer now.
现在信就放在我的抽屉里。
Maybe I will send it tomorrow.
也许我明天会寄出去。
Or maybe I will keep it here.
或者也许我会把它留在这里。
Some words are too heavy to mail.
有些话太重了，寄不出去。
So I close the drawer and sleep.
所以我关上抽屉，睡觉了。
