I found a photo under some old papers today.
今日、古い書類の下から写真を見つけた。
It was from my first job, years ago.
それは何年も前の、最初の仕事の頃のものだった。
I looked younger, and a bit unsure.
私は若く見えて、ちょっと自信なさげだった。
That person feels like a stranger now.
その人は、今では他人のように感じる。
I remember the day we took it.
その写真を撮った日のことは覚えている。
We were celebrating a small win.
小さな成功を祝っていたんだ。
Everyone smiled, but I felt nervous inside.
みんな笑っていたけど、心の中は緊張していた。
Now I see how far I have come.
今、どれだけ自分が進んできたかが分かる。
That old self carried so much hope.
あの頃の自分は、たくさんの希望を抱えていた。
I miss that simple belief in tomorrow.
あの単純な明日への信頼が懐かしい。
But I am not the same anymore.
でも、もう同じ自分ではない。
I have learned, and I have changed.
学び、変わってきたのだ。
