After the meeting, I realized I gave wrong numbers.
Pagkatapos ng meeting, napansin kong mali ang mga numerong binigay ko.
I felt nervous about sending the follow-up email.
Kinabahan ako nang isipin kong mag-email ng follow-up.
I didn't want to sound pushy or rude.
Ayokong magmukhang pushy o bastos.
But hiding the mistake would be worse.
Pero mas malala kung itatago ko ang pagkakamali.
So I wrote a short, honest note.
Kaya sumulat ako ng maikli at tapat na mensahe.
I started with, 'Just floating this back to the top.'
Sinimulan ko ng, 'Just floating this back to the top.'
Then I admitted the error clearly.
Tapos inamin ko nang malinaw ang pagkakamali.
I said, 'No rush at all, but I want to fix it.'
Sabi ko, 'No rush at all, pero gusto kong ayusin ito.'
I offered to explain more if needed.
Nag-offer akong magpaliwanag pa kung kailangan.
I asked, 'Happy to jump on a quick call?'
Tinanong ko, 'Happy to jump on a quick call?'
The reply came fast and was friendly.
Mabilis ang reply at mabait naman.
Owning my mistake actually helped me.
Ang pag-amin ng pagkakamali ay nakatulong talaga sa akin.
