Last night I looked at my friend's new job post.
कल रात मैंने अपने दोस्त की नई नौकरी की पोस्ट देखी।
Their title is shiny and the city is big.
उनकी पदवी चमकदार है और शहर बड़ा है।
I felt a pinch inside my chest.
मेरे सीने में एक चुभन महसूस हुई।
Then I closed the phone and thought about my week.
फिर मैंने फोन बंद किया और अपने हफ्ते के बारे में सोचा।
I finished two reports and learned a new tool.
मैंने दो रिपोर्ट पूरी कीं और एक नया टूल सीखा।
That is my own slow progress.
यह मेरी अपनी धीमी प्रगति है।
My path is not their path.
मेरा रास्ता उनका रास्ता नहीं है।
Tonight I will write my small wins.
आज रात मैं अपनी छोटी जीतें लिखूंगा।
I will not check their feed again.
मैं उनकी फीड दोबारा नहीं देखूंगा।
My eyes belong to my own road.
मेरी आँखें मेरी अपनी सड़क की हैं।
I am not behind, I am just different.
मैं पीछे नहीं हूँ, मैं बस अलग हूँ।
And different feels good tonight.
और अलग होना आज रात अच्छा लगता है।
