I stared at the sushi for a long time.
我盯着那块寿司看了很久。
It looked cold and wet on the plate.
它放在盘子上，看着又冷又湿。
My hand did not want to move.
我的手不想动。
Raw fish felt like a big risk.
生鱼片感觉像是很大的冒险。
But I picked it up anyway.
但我还是拿了起来。
I put it in my mouth fast.
我飞快地塞进嘴里。
It was soft and a little salty.
它很软，带一点咸味。
Not scary at all, just different.
一点也不可怕，只是不一样。
I felt sad for being afraid so long.
我为害怕这么久感到难过。
Fear made me miss many small joys.
恐惧让我错过了很多小小的快乐。
Now I think about what else I avoid.
现在我在想我还回避了些什么。
Maybe tomorrow I try something new again.
也许明天我会再试试新东西。
