I watched the last leaf fall from the tree.
मैंने पेड़ से आखिरी पत्ता गिरते देखा।
It twisted slowly in the cold air.
वह ठंडी हवा में धीरे-धीरे घूमता रहा।
I felt a strange sadness in my chest.
मेरे सीने में एक अजीब सी उदासी थी।
That leaf held on longer than the others.
वह पत्ता बाकियों से ज़्यादा देर तक टिका रहा।
I think about the emails I never sent.
मैं उन ईमेल के बारे में सोचता हूँ जो मैंने कभी नहीं भेजे।
Some goodbyes are hard to write.
कुछ अलविदा लिखना मुश्किल होता है।
I keep drafts that never see the light.

Like the leaf, I cling to what is gone.
