Yesterday my team wanted to ship the update.
Kahapon gusto ng team ko na ilabas ang update.
But I felt something was off.
Pero may naramdaman akong hindi tama.
I said, "I am not comfortable shipping yet."
Sinabi ko, "Hindi pa ako komportable na ilabas ito."
I explained the risk to the user.
Ipinaliwanag ko ang panganib para sa user.
A few features still had bugs.
May mga feature pa na may bug.
I asked, "Could we hold one more day?"
Tinanong ko, "Puwede bang antay tayo ng isang araw?"
My manager listened and agreed.
Nakinig ang manager ko at pumayag.
We fixed the bugs the next morning.
Inayos namin ang mga bug kinaumagahan.
The launch went smoothly after that.
Maayos naman ang naging launch pagkatapos.
Speaking up felt right.
Tama ang pakiramdam na magsalita ako.
