I watched the last leaf fall.
Eu vi a última folha cair.
It spun down slowly.
Ela desceu girando devagar.
The tree is now bare.
A árvore agora está nua.
I felt a strange weight in my chest.
Senti um peso estranho no peito.
That leaf was holding on for so long.
Aquela folha estava segurando há tanto tempo.
Now it is gone.
Agora ela se foi.
It reminds me of the project I gave up.
Isso me lembra do projeto que abandonei.
I fought for it for months.
Lutei por ele durante meses.
In the end, I had to let go.
No fim, tive que deixar ir.
There is a sad beauty in endings.
Há uma beleza triste nos finais.
Maybe next spring, something new will grow.
Talvez na próxima primavera, algo novo cresça.
