I was happy to explain it.

The easiest way to think about it is a filter.
一番簡単な考え方は、フィルターみたいなものだ。
So when a user types a keyword, we search the database.
ユーザーがキーワードを入力すると、データベースを検索する。
I showed him on my screen.
自分の画面で見せた。
He nodded and said it made sense.
彼はうなずいて、わかったと言った。
I felt proud to help.
助けられて誇りに思った。
He asked a few more questions.
さらにいくつか質問をした。
Each one was about edge cases.
どれも特殊なケースについてだった。
I explained slowly and clearly.
ゆっくりはっきり説明した。
By the end, he felt confident.
最後には彼も自信がついたようだ。
I think he will do great.
きっと彼はうまくやると思う。
