I woke up to a freezing room.
Acordei num quarto gelado.
The window was white with frost.
A janela estava branca de geada.
I turned on the coffee machine.
Liguei a máquina de café.
The smell filled the kitchen slowly.
O cheiro encheu a cozinha devagar.
I thought about the emails waiting for me.
Pensei nos e-mails que me esperavam.
Some of them are hard to answer.
Alguns são difíceis de responder.
But today feels like a fresh start.
Mas hoje parece um novo começo.
The cold air wakes me up.
O ar frio me desperta.
I wrap my hands around the warm cup.
Envolvo minhas mãos na xícara quente.
I take a sip and open my laptop.
Dou um gole e abro meu laptop.
The first email is from a friend.
O primeiro e-mail é de um amigo.
It says: 'You've got this.'
Diz: 'Você consegue.'
