I found an old email draft today.
我今天发现了一封旧邮件草稿。
It was addressed to my high school teacher.
收件人是我高中老师。
I wrote it five years ago but never sent it.
我五年前写的，但没发出去。
The subject line was 'thank you'.
主题是“谢谢您”。
In the email, I told her she changed my life.
邮件里我跟她说，她改变了我的人生。
She was the first person who saw my potential.
她是第一个看到我潜力的人。
I was shy and didn't believe in myself.
我以前很害羞，也不相信自己。
But she kept giving me chances to try.
但她一直给我尝试的机会。
She made me feel that I mattered.
她让我觉得自己很重要。
Now I want to rewrite that email.
现在我想重写那封邮件。
I will send it this time.
这次我会发出去。
Some thanks are long overdue.
有些感谢早就该说了。
