I started to watch how I talked to people.
人との話し方に注意を払うようになった。
I tried to make them feel welcome.
彼らに歓迎されていると感じてもらおうと努力した。
That one comment changed my whole approach.

Now I train new staff the same way.

I tell them what I see in them.

It is amazing how far a little belief goes.
