I remember my math teacher, Mrs. Park.
저는 수학 선생님 박 선생님이 기억나요.
She told me I could be good at math.
그분은 제가 수학을 잘할 수 있다고 말했어요.
I did not believe her at first.
처음에는 그 말을 믿지 않았어요.
My grades were not great back then.
그때 제 성적은 좋지 않았거든요.
But she kept telling me to try.
하지만 그분은 계속 도전하라고 하셨어요.
She gave me extra problems to solve.
추가 문제를 풀게 해 주셨어요.
I started to see small wins.
작은 성공들을 보기 시작했어요.
Each correct answer felt like a step.
정답 하나하나가 한 걸음처럼 느껴졌어요.
Her belief changed how I saw myself.
그분의 믿음이 제 자신을 보는 방식을 바꿨어요.
Now I try to pass that on to others.
지금은 그 믿음을 다른 사람에게도 전하려고 해요.
One person's trust can shift a life.
한 사람의 신뢰가 인생을 바꿀 수 있어요.
I hope I can be that for someone.
저도 누군가에게 그런 사람이 되길 바래요.
