I started a new project last month.
Empecé un nuevo proyecto el mes pasado.
It felt like planting a tiny seed in dry soil.
Se sintió como plantar una semilla diminuta en tierra seca.
I watered it with daily effort and attention.
La regué con esfuerzo diario y atención.
But nothing showed above the surface for weeks.
Pero nada apareció sobre la superficie durante semanas.
I almost gave up and thought it was useless.
Casi me rendí y pensé que era inútil.
Then a small green shoot appeared one morning.
Entonces un pequeño brote verde apareció una mañana.
It was fragile but alive.
Era frágil pero vivo.
I learned that growth needs time below ground.
Aprendí que el crecimiento necesita tiempo bajo tierra.
Now I trust the slow work more.
Ahora confío más en el trabajo lento.
I keep watering and waiting patiently.
Sigo regando y esperando con paciencia.
The harvest will come in its own season.
La cosecha llegará en su propia temporada.
For now, I am happy with the green shoot.
Por ahora, estoy feliz con el brote verde.
