Today a child showed me something important.
Hoje uma criança me mostrou algo importante.
She was building a tower with blocks.
Ela estava construindo uma torre com blocos.
The tower fell again and again.
A torre caía várias vezes.
But she never got upset.
Mas ela nunca ficava chateada.
She just tried a new way each time.
Ela apenas tentava um jeito novo a cada vez.
I saw how freely she experimented.
Eu vi como ela experimentava com liberdade.
At work, I fear making mistakes.
No trabalho, tenho medo de cometer erros.
I hide my failures from my team.
Escondo meus fracassos da minha equipe.
But that child taught me to try openly.
Mas aquela criança me ensinou a tentar abertamente.
Maybe I can bring that spirit to work.
Talvez eu possa trazer esse espírito para o trabalho.
I will allow myself to fall and rebuild.
Vou me permitir cair e reconstruir.
Learning can be playful, not painful.
Aprender pode ser divertido, não doloroso.
