I moved here last week.
Eu me mudei para cá na semana passada.
The city feels big and unknown.
A cidade parece grande e desconhecida.
I came here for a new job.
Vim para cá por causa de um novo emprego.
But I still haven't started working.
Mas ainda não comecei a trabalhar.
Right now I feel lost.
Neste momento, me sinto perdido.
I don't know the streets or the people.
Não conheço as ruas nem as pessoas.
Yesterday I ate dinner alone in my room.
Ontem jantei sozinho no meu quarto.
But today I saw a park near my house.
Mas hoje vi um parque perto da minha casa.
I sat on a bench and watched people.
Sentei num banco e observei as pessoas.
A woman smiled at me.
Uma mulher sorriu para mim.
Maybe tomorrow I will say hello.
Talvez amanhã eu diga olá.
Little by little, this place becomes mine.
Pouco a pouco, este lugar se torna meu.
