My colleague looked at the spreadsheet and froze.

He said numbers always make his head spin.

I wanted to help him feel calm.

I said, 'Think of it like a weekly grocery list.'

He laughed and relaxed a little.

Then I pointed to the biggest number.

I covered the rest with my hand.

He nodded and started to smile.
