I could not sleep last night.
मुझे रात को नींद नहीं आई।
My mind ran in circles.
मेरा दिमाग घूमता रहा।
So I walked to the window.
तो मैं खिड़की के पास गया।
The sky was dark and quiet.
आसमान अँधेरा और शांत था।
Then a thin line of gold appeared.
फिर सोने की एक पतली रेखा दिखी।
It spread like honey on toast.
वह शहद की तरह फैल गई।
The birds began to call softly.
पक्षी धीरे से बोलने लगे।
I felt my worry loosen its grip.
मुझे लगा मेरी चिंता कम हो गई।
The sun did not promise anything.
सूरज ने कुछ वादा नहीं किया।
It just came back, like always.
वह बस लौट आया, हमेशा की तरह।
Maybe I can learn from this.
शायद मैं इससे सीख सकता हूँ।
I do not have to carry everything.
मुझे सब कुछ उठाने की ज़रूरत नहीं है।
