I remember my first time speaking English to a stranger.
我记得第一次和陌生人说英语。
It was at a coffee shop near my home.
那是在我家附近的一家咖啡店。
My hands felt a little cold and shaky.
我的手有点凉，还发抖。
But I wanted to try.
但我想试试。
The man in front of me looked friendly.
我前面的人看起来很友好。
I said, 'Excuse me, is this seat free?'
我说：‘打扰一下，这个座位空吗？’
My voice came out very quiet.
我的声音很小。
But he smiled and said yes.
但他笑了，说可以坐。
That small yes felt like a big win.
这个小小的‘可以’感觉像一个大胜利。
Now I talk to strangers more often.
现在我更常和陌生人说话了。
Each time, it gets a little easier.
每次都会变得容易一点。
I am proud of that first step.
我为那第一步感到自豪。
