In a review, my colleague said our plan was perfect.

I saw it a little differently.

I said, “Fair point, but have we considered the budget?”

She paused and looked at the numbers again.

I added, “I am not sure that holds because costs are high.”

She nodded and agreed to revise the plan.

I learned that polite pushback works better than silence.
