I had to share bad news with my team.

Our numbers were worse than we hoped.

I felt nervous before the meeting.

But I knew I had to be honest.

I started by saying, 'I want to be straight with you.'

Then I showed the numbers.

I said, 'Here is what the numbers say.'

I explained why we missed the target.
목표를 달성하지 못한 이유를 설명했어요.
Then I said, 'Here is how we can respond.'
그리고 '이렇게 대응할 수 있습니다'라고 말했어요.
I shared a clear plan to improve.
개선할 명확한 계획을 공유했어요.
The team appreciated my honesty.
팀이 제 솔직함을 고마워했어요.
We worked together on solutions.
우리는 함께 해결책을 찾았어요.
