I walked home in the rain today.
मैं आज बारिश में घर चला।
I forgot my umbrella at work.
मैं अपना छाता ऑफिस में भूल गया।
At first, I was a little upset.
पहले तो मुझे थोड़ा बुरा लगा।
But then I felt the cool drops.
लेकिन फिर मुझे ठंडी बूंदें महसूस हुईं।
The city looked soft and clean.
शहर नरम और साफ लग रहा था।
Cars moved slowly in the wet streets.
गीली सड़कों पर गाड़ियाँ धीरे चल रही थीं।
I heard the rain on the leaves.
मैंने पत्तों पर बारिश की आवाज़ सुनी।
My shoes got wet, but I did not mind.
मेरे जूते गीले हो गए, लेकिन मुझे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा।
I took a deep breath and smiled.
मैंने गहरी साँस ली और मुस्कुराया।
Sometimes, small things bring peace.
कभी-कभी छोटी चीज़ें शांति लाती हैं।
