I open my eyes before the alarm.
アラームが鳴る前に目が覚める。
Outside, the city is still asleep.
外はまだ街が眠っている。
I like this quiet time alone.
この一人きりの静かな時間が好き。
My dog stretches and looks at me.
犬が伸びをして、私を見る。
We go for a walk in the dark.
暗い中、散歩に出かける。
The street lamps are still on.
街灯がまだついている。
The air smells fresh and cool.
空気はひんやりと新鮮な匂い。
I see a baker opening her shop.
パン屋さんが店を開けるのが見える。
The first train rumbles far away.
遠くで始発電車がゴーッと走る。
Soon the city will wake up loud.
すぐに街は騒がしくなる。
But for now, it is just us.
でも今は、私と犬だけ。
I breathe deeply and feel thankful.
深く息をして、感謝の気持ちが湧く。
