I got my first paycheck last week.
我上周拿到了第一份工资。
It was not a lot of money.
钱不算多。
But it was mine, earned by me.
但这是我挣来的。
I felt proud and a little scared.
我感到自豪，也有点紧张。
I wanted to spend it all on fun.
我想全花在玩乐上。
But I remembered my parents' advice.
但我记起了父母的建议。
Save some, spend some, give some.
存一些，花一些，捐一些。
So I put half in my savings.
所以我把一半存了起来。
I bought a book I wanted.
我买了一本想看的书。
I also treated a friend to coffee.
还请朋友喝了杯咖啡。
It felt good to be responsible.
负责任的感觉真好。
This is just the start, I think.
我想，这只是开始。
