It is late and I am thinking.

I remember a time I was scared.

I was in class and did not understand.

I wanted to raise my hand.

But I was afraid to look dumb.
Mas tive medo de parecer burro.
Asking a question is brave.
Fazer uma pergunta é corajoso.
It means you want to learn.
Significa que você quer aprender.
Now I know that smart people ask.
Agora sei que pessoas inteligentes perguntam.
They are not afraid of being wrong.
Elas não têm medo de errar.
I want to be like that.
Quero ser assim.
Next time I will ask.
Da próxima vez, vou perguntar.
It is a small step for growth.
