I realized I made a mistake on the report.

It happened when I copied the data from the spreadsheet.

I said, 'We are on track for the deadline, but I need to fix one part.'

Then I told her realistically that lands by tomorrow afternoon.

She appreciated that I was honest early.

I promised to keep her posted on my progress.

It felt good to take responsibility and set clear timing.
