Last week we had a project review.
La semana pasada tuvimos una revisión del proyecto.
My colleague said we should launch early.
Mi colega dijo que deberíamos lanzar temprano.
I saw it a little differently.
Yo lo veía un poco diferente.
I said, 'That is a fair point.'
Dije: 'Ese es un buen punto.'
Then I added, 'But have we considered the risks?'

I explained my concern calmly.

She listened and nodded.
Ella escuchó y asintió.
We then looked at the data together.
Luego miramos los datos juntos.
I said, 'I'm not sure that holds because of the deadline.'
Dije: 'No estoy seguro de que eso se sostenga por la fecha límite.'
We found a middle ground.
Encontramos un punto medio.
The launch moved to next month.
El lanzamiento se movió al próximo mes.
I felt heard and respected.
Me sentí escuchado y respetado.
