We shared one umbrella in the rain.
हमने बारिश में एक छाता साझा किया।
Our shoulders touched as we walked.
चलते समय हमारे कंधे छूते थे।
The rain was not too heavy.
बारिश बहुत तेज़ नहीं थी।
We did not hurry.
हमने जल्दी नहीं की।
Each step felt easy.
हर कदम आसान लगा।
I remember the sound of drops on the cloth.
मुझे कपड़े पर बूंदों की आवाज़ याद है।
The air smelled of wet earth.
हवा में गीली मिट्टी की खुशबू थी।
We did not talk much.
हमने ज़्यादा बात नहीं की।
Just being together was enough.
बस साथ होना ही काफ़ी था।
That small umbrella held something big.
उस छोटे छाते ने कुछ बड़ा समेटा था।
It held care, without words.
उसने बिना शब्दों के देखभाल को संजोया।
I carry that feeling even now.
वह एहसास मैं अब भी अपने साथ रखता हूँ।
