We shared one umbrella today.
Hoy compartimos un paraguas.
The rain was hard and cold.
La lluvia era fuerte y fría.
But we walked close together.
Pero caminamos muy juntos.
Our shoulders touched with each step.
Nuestros hombros se rozaban al andar.
I held the umbrella a bit to her side.
Sostenía el paraguas un poco hacia su lado.
She noticed and smiled.
Ella lo notó y sonrió.
That small act felt like a promise.
Ese pequeño gesto pareció una promesa.
A promise to look out for each other.
Una promesa de cuidarnos mutuamente.
The rain stopped later.
La lluvia paró después.
But I still felt the warmth of that moment.
Pero aún sentía el calor de ese momento.
We didn't say much.
No dijimos mucho.
We didn't need to.
No hacía falta.
