I drew a line too long.
선을 너무 길게 그렸어요.
It was just a small sketch.
그냥 작은 스케치였는데.
But I stared at it for five minutes.
그런데 5분 동안 그걸 쳐다봤어요.
My mind said, 'You ruined it.'
머릿속에서 '망쳤어'라고 말했죠.
I wanted to tear the page out.
페이지를 찢어버리고 싶었어요.
But I put my pencil down instead.
대신 연필을 내려놨어요.
The mistake was not a big deal.
그 실수는 큰 일이 아니었어요.
I learned that from an old teacher.
예전 선생님께 배운 거예요.
She said, 'Mistakes are part of the work.'
그분이 '실수는 작업의 일부야'라고 했죠.
I kept the page in my notebook.
그 페이지를 노트에 그대로 두었어요.
Next time, I will draw again.
다음에는 다시 그릴 거예요.
The line is just a line.
선은 그냥 선일 뿐이니까.
