She showed me how to catch a bug.
彼女は虫の捕まえ方を教えてくれました。
I was slow and clumsy.
私はのろまで、不器用でした。
She laughed and tried again.
彼女は笑って、もう一度やりました。
She did not give up.
彼女はあきらめませんでした。
I learned to be patient from her.
彼女から忍耐を学びました。
Adults forget this simple thing.
大人はこの単純なことを忘れます。
We want everything fast.
私たちはすべてを速く求める。
But a child knows slow is okay.
でも、子どもは遅くても大丈夫だと知っています。
Today I will try her way.
今日は彼女のやり方を試してみます。
I will take it one step at a time.
一歩ずつ進んでいきます。
Maybe I will learn something new.
もしかしたら、新しい何かを学ぶかもしれません。
