Last week I tried to explain a new process.
上周我试着解释一个新流程。
My colleague looked confused.
我的同事看起来很困惑。
I realized my first try did not work.
我意识到第一次尝试没有成功。
So I said, "Let us try another angle."
于是我说：“我们换个角度试试。”
I paused and thought of a simpler way.
我停下来想一个更简单的办法。
"Imagine it like a recipe," I said.
“把它想象成食谱，”我说。
I compared the process to cooking soup.
我把流程比作煮汤。
She smiled and nodded.
她笑了，点了点头。
"Does that make it clearer?" I asked.
“这样是不是更清楚了？”我问。
She said yes and started to understand.
她说是的，开始理解了。
I felt good that I tried another way.
我很高兴我尝试了另一种方法。
Sometimes one angle is not enough.
有时候一个角度是不够的。
