I moved here three weeks ago.
三週間前にここに引っ越してきた。
Everything feels new and strange.
何もかも新しくて、不思議な感じがする。
I don't know the streets yet.
まだ道を覚えていない。
But I started a morning habit.
でも、朝の習慣を始めた。
I walk to the same coffee shop.
同じコーヒー屋さんまで歩くんだ。
The barista knows my name now.
バリスタがもう名前を覚えてくれた。
That small thing feels like home.
その小さなことが、故郷みたいに感じられる。
I found a job at a pet shop.
ペットショップで仕事を見つけた。
I clean cages and feed the cats.
ケージを掃除して、猫に餌をあげる。
It is simple work, but I like it.
単純な仕事だけど、好きだ。
One cat always purrs when I hold her.
一匹の猫が、抱くと必ずゴロゴロのどを鳴らす。
I think I will adopt her soon.
近いうちに、その猫を飼おうと思う。
