I had a hard meeting this morning.
오늘 아침에 힘든 회의가 있었어요.
I had to share bad numbers with my team.
팀에 나쁜 수치를 공유해야 했거든요.
My heart was beating fast.
심장이 빨리 뛰었어요.
But I knew I had to be honest.
하지만 솔직해야 한다는 걸 알았어요.
I said, "I want to be straight with you."
"솔직히 말씀드리고 싶습니다"라고 말했어요.
Then I showed the numbers on the screen.
그리고 화면에 수치를 보여줬어요.
"Here is what the numbers say," I said.
"수치가 말해주는 것은 이렇습니다"라고 말했어요.
I paused and looked at them.
잠시 멈추고 그들을 바라봤어요.
Then I added, "Here is how we can respond."
그리고 "우리가 어떻게 대응할 수 있는지 말씀드리겠습니다"라고 덧붙였어요.
We made a plan together.
우리는 함께 계획을 세웠어요.
I felt relieved after the talk.
그 이야기를 하고 나니 안도감이 들었어요.
Honesty made us stronger.
솔직함이 우리를 더 강하게 만들었어요.
