A tired guest arrived at 2 p.m.
Um hóspede cansado chegou às 14h.
Her room was still being cleaned.
O quarto dela ainda estava sendo limpo.
I felt bad for the delay.
Senti muito pelo atraso.
I said, "I am so sorry for the wait."
Eu disse: "Sinto muito pela espera."
She looked tired and a bit annoyed.
Ela parecia cansada e um pouco irritada.
I offered her coffee and a seat.
Ofereci café e um lugar para sentar.
"While you wait, may I offer you a drink?"
"Enquanto espera, posso oferecer uma bebida?"
Her face softened a little.
O rosto dela suavizou um pouco.
She accepted the coffee with a smile.
Ela aceitou o café com um sorriso.
I added, "I will personally let you know the moment it is ready."
Eu acrescentei: "Vou avisar pessoalmente assim que estiver pronto."
She thanked me and relaxed.
Ela me agradeceu e relaxou.
Ten minutes later, the room was done.
Dez minutos depois, o quarto ficou pronto.
